Set on an exceptional private headland on Corfu’s northeast coast, Artemis House is a distinctive luxury residence designed to embrace its extraordinary natural surroundings.
The architecture combines strong Venetian influences with contemporary comfort, creating generous indoor and outdoor living spaces that open towards panoramic views of the Corfu Channel and the mountains of Albania.
Extensive landscaped grounds and woodland pathways connect the residence with the coastline, leading to a secluded pebble beach, swimming areas and a private jetty.
The property incorporates extensive leisure and wellness facilities, including a cinema room, gym, sauna and steam room, alongside expansive entertaining areas and two swimming pools.
Built to an exceptionally high specification, Artemis House integrates modern technology, carefully considered environmental systems and refined architectural detailing throughout, resulting in a residence that feels both luxurious and naturally connected to its unique coastal setting.
Designed by a Norman Foster-trained architect with strong Venetian influences, Artemis House is set on a private 5-acre coastal headland in northeast Corfu. The residence accommodates 14 guests across seven bedrooms and combines expansive living spaces with a cinema room, gym, spa facilities, study areas and a substantial pool house.
Built to a very high specification, the property combines traditional Venetian architectural influences with contemporary detailing and finishes. Interiors feature high-quality fittings and furnishings, Egyptian cotton linens, English sprung mattresses and carefully considered finishes throughout the bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas.
Natural winter rainwater is collected for use throughout the property, while grey water is recycled for landscape irrigation. Solar-powered lighting illuminates the gardens, woodland and pathways, and the swimming pool uses Floatron technology to reduce chlorine requirements.
Extensive landscaped grounds descend towards a private pebble beach, swimming areas and jetty, with pathways winding through the surrounding woodland. Outdoor living centres around a 20m × 9m saltwater swimming pool, separate children’s pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, Moroccan-style shaded lounge area and a large pool house equipped with a fireplace, kitchen and BBQ. The main terrace provides outdoor dining for up to 20 guests and panoramic views across the Corfu Channel towards Albania.
The interiors are designed around generous spaces for relaxation and entertaining, including a huge sitting and dining room opening through nine French windows onto the terrace. Seven individually configured bedrooms are complemented by en-suite bathrooms, a state-of-the-art kitchen, cinema room, study, private gym, sauna, steam room and dedicated massage area.
Modern technology is integrated throughout the villa, including Wi-Fi extending to the pool area, satellite television, plasma TVs throughout the bedrooms and other key spaces, a Sonos music system and surround sound in the cinema room. Comfort systems include air conditioning and fans throughout the principal rooms together with underfloor heating.
