ABOUT THE PROJECT
Set directly on Almyros Beach on the north coast of Corfu, Almyros Beach Resort & Spa represents a large-scale hospitality renovation focused on transforming the property into a contemporary five-star beachfront destination.
The resort comprises 180 guest rooms distributed across 12 individual buildings, supported by an extensive collection of communal, leisure and hospitality spaces. The renovation created a cohesive resort environment in which accommodation, dining, wellness, recreation and outdoor living are integrated throughout the landscaped beachfront setting.
The completed property incorporates swimming pools and water attractions, spa and fitness facilities, restaurants and bars, children’s areas, sports facilities and dedicated spaces for entertainment and events.
The result is a comprehensive hospitality environment designed around the demands of a modern five-star resort while maintaining a strong connection with its beachfront location and the natural landscape of North Corfu.
The renovation redefined the property as a cohesive contemporary resort, organising guest accommodation across 12 individual buildings while integrating the main hospitality, dining, wellness and recreational facilities into a unified beachfront environment. The low-rise arrangement allows the development to retain a human scale, with the individual accommodation buildings connected through landscaped outdoor areas and communal spaces.
The renovated interiors follow a contemporary hospitality aesthetic, combining clean finishes with custom-made furniture from Venice and a restrained modern decorative language. Light-filled rooms, private balconies and carefully detailed bathrooms contribute to a consistent visual identity across the guest accommodation while maintaining a relaxed Mediterranean character.
The outdoor environment forms a central part of the resort experience, extending from the landscaped grounds directly towards Almyros Beach. Swimming areas, children’s pools and water slides are combined with outdoor dining and relaxation spaces, sports facilities and dedicated recreational areas, creating a continuous sequence of leisure spaces throughout the beachfront property.
The renovation introduced a contemporary hospitality character throughout the resort, with bright guest rooms and suites designed around comfort, natural light and private outdoor space. Modern furnishings and refined finishes are complemented by extensive communal interiors including reception and lounge areas, restaurants and bars, spa and fitness facilities and flexible spaces for entertainment, conferences and events.
